Editorial. 20.8.2017. Church for broken souls

Some people can find churches rather daunting places. Unfortunately, at times, as followers of Jesus we can come across to others as intimidating.

This should not be.

The reason we have accepted Jesus into our lives is because we know we all come short of the mark. We recognise our need and endeavour to come into a relationship with God and His Son. It is only by their grace that we can have any hope.

Jesus said, "Healthy people don't need a doctor—sick people do. I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners." (Mark 2:17 NLT)

Don’t be afraid to join the ranks of those of us who go to church because we know it is a place for ‘broken souls’.

If you’re wondering how the photo fits into these thoughts, you’ll find the answer in our meditation under the same title: “Church for broken souls”.
